  1. Thank you for trying CD Control Strip!

  3. This is the first of what I hope will be many quality programs.  I wrote this program because I found the Apple CD Audio Player to be very inconvienient to use on my 15" monitor while trying to do other things (like making programs!).  I hope you find this as useful as I do.

  5. Features included:
  6.         - Complete control of the CD player from the Control Strip
  7.         - Uses the same database as AppleCD Audio Player for CD title and track names
  8.         - Balloon Help track info (try it, you'll like it)
  9.         - Works side by side with the AppleCD Audio Player and other CD programs
  10.  
  11. Program Requirements:
  12.         - Any Macintosh or Mac OS compatible running System 7.0 or later and the Control Strip
  13.              from Apple
  14.         - Apple CD Drive or compatible
  15.  
  16. Known Limitations:
  17.         - If you have more than one CD player, you can only control the first one
  18.  
  19. To install, drop the file CD Control into the Control Strips folder located in the System folder, and reboot.

  34. As much as I hope my programs are perfect, they almost never are.  So if you encounter a bug, a problem, or an annoying feature, please send the following information to either the above address or to munsie@earthlink.net:

  38.                                                                                                     CD Drive type (Apple, third party, etc.), driver information
  39.                                                                                                                     (if known), and number of drives connected to your

  42.                                                                                                                     window from the Finder)
  43.                                                                                                     A description of the problem that you are encountering
